Privacy Policy

Skillwright is built by Seven Hills Software. We collect as little about you as possible. This page tells you exactly what we do collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

• Email address — provided at checkout, used to send your license key, receipts, and rare product updates.
• License activation metadata — when you activate Skillwright on a device, we record the hostname, operating system, and a generated instance ID, so we can enforce per-device activation limits and let you deactivate old devices.
• Anonymous analytics — page views, country, browser, and referrer on this marketing site, via Google Analytics with IP anonymization. See our Cookie Policy.
• Crash reports (opt-in only) — you can opt in inside the app to send anonymized crash traces. Off by default.

What we never collect

• The contents of your skills — SKILL.md, .cursorrules, Windsurf rules, Copilot instructions, prompts, file contents, or anything you type inside Skillwright.
• Your project paths or repository contents.
• Telemetry tied to your skill usage.

Where data lives

• Payment data is held by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). We never see your card details.
• License records sit on Lemon Squeezy's License API plus a private mirror in our Supabase project.
• Analytics data is held by Google. We do not sell or share it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you have the right to access, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@skillwright.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Skillwright is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy we will email everyone with a license before the change takes effect. The “Effective” date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
